The Supreme Court said on Friday, despite the Odd-Even vehicle rationing scheme, pollution had reached a severe level and again called the Chief Secretaries of Delhi, Punjab, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh to report measures taken to contain air pollution, particularly related stubble burning.

During the hearing, the judges examined the Delhi government's Odd-Even scheme against air quality index data collected over the past two years. The court noted that local pollution from Delhi is a big problem if the stubble burning contributes 40%.
