In basics 8, there are two more doors and 4 + 1 instead of 2 + 2 personalities.

Between 1989 and 1999, BMW produced the first generation of the eighth series, which has since become iconic, and its second edition was released after a long silence last summer. The new 8th coupe also won its cabriolet model last fall, and now it has officially been withdrawn from the 4-door version of the model. That's exactly what happened:

In the previous model, the Gran Coupe, which is longer than the 6th Gran Coup, promises a more spacious cabin than the previous one. In the rear, two can travel in the greatest comfort, but a passenger can also sit in the center if necessary. The novelty of 5.08 meters in length is harder than 70 kilos for the two-door version with a boot of 440 liters.

The BMW 8 Gran Coupe 840d xDrive, the xDrive version of the 8-door XDrive, with unframed doors and familiar lines, delivers 320 hp and 680 Nm diesel power of up to 5.1 seconds at levels 0-100. The 6-cylinder, 3-cylinder 840i gasoline unit is 340 hp and 500 Nm combined with rear-wheel drive or four-wheel drive with an acceleration of 0 to 100 between 5.2 and 4.9 seconds.

The M850i's 4.4-liter V8 biturbo is designed primarily for 530 horsepower and 750 Nm of torque and can ideally be knocked down at 100 rpm in 3.9 seconds. The M8 version will arrive in early 2020 with 600-625 horsepower and 750 Nm.

The common feature of all 8 is the eight-speed automatic transmission. Interestingly, the Gran Coupe is about $ 1 million cheaper than its sister model two-door similar design: the base price in Germany is € 91,500 (€ 28,9 million). Production in July, distribution will begin in September.
