A few hours after the death of Andrea Bomi, the family of sports writers are in a very difficult position to bid farewell to their prominent member, Nikos Antoniadis.
The great sports journalist who accompanied all the great successes of the Greek track and was born on January 2, 1950, this Saturday, left his life affected by cancer.
He began his career in "Light of Sports", covering the history. At the same time, he worked for the "Nation", from which in 1983 he went to the "Free Press" with whom he collaborated from the first day of his publication and reached the position of director of the sports department. His cooperation with the ERT was decisive for his career. He has covered all the major events of the classic sport since the 90s. He made great compliments, such as the Voula Patoulidou gold medals in Barcelona, Kostas Kenteris in Sydney, etc.
Even after his retirement, he was still close to his great love of sports, watching and advising his younger colleagues.
The Pan-Hellenic Sports Press Association expresses its sincere condolences to his wife, his two children and his family.
