Bank hours change since May 1 – Society

Beginning on May 1, the new trading hours of banks will be applied, which runs from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm, from Monday to Friday. According to a relevant announcement by the Federation of Employees Organizations of the Bank of Greece (OTOE), the collective bargaining process, which lasted almost three months, was formally concluded with the signing of the Collective Banks Sector Convention – OTOE.

The new Collective Branch Agreement for bank employees is three years and includes important agreements relating to:

– Protection of employment.

– Improve the income of bank employees, covering part of the losses within three years.

– The training of bankers, with a view to the digitization of banking operations, as well as other important agreements with institutional and financial content.

– At trading time, which is set on May 1, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., from Monday to Friday.

"The signing of the Collective Bargaining Agreement is of particular importance in adverse conditions, as the problems faced by banks and employees require understanding and mutual understanding so that both banks and employees can respond to their functions. who devise an effective strategy to support the real economy and social needs and, in that sense, the officials are ready to respond, "notes the Federation.

At the same time, OTOE notes that it feels particularly satisfied after the signing of the new Sectorial Collective Agreement, but stresses that it will remain at hand in view of any developments in the field.
