"I have nothing to tell you, no good luck." It was with harsh words that Xavier said goodbye to his teammates at the end of the sixth episode of "Koh-Lanta: The War of the Leaders" on Friday, April 19th. A heartbreaker for this 53-year-old father, a loyal spectator of the show.
LCI: Xavier, it seems that his course in "Koh-Lanta" ended in a bad mood. Was this the case?
(Laughter). If the advice had happened last night, I would not have the same smile! It ended badly in the sense that the other three – Maud, Cyril and Alexander – are actors who stole my adventure. So I do not wish you good luck at the moment, for all of you to ask the question: why so hard in my words? Not malice, but hardness. They exploded Victor, they exploded Emilie … They came to him when they sent Chloe away, who was his protégé from the beginning. But it was not enough and, especially, it was too late.
Since the start of the season, this red team makes strategic mistakes all the time, right?
From the television point of view, we have this impression of strategy with the exits of Victor, Émilie, my. But it all starts with our arrival on the island and this time we meet at the age of 21. We have the opportunity to get to know each other, discuss our physical abilities, etc. With Emilia, an ex-gymnast like me, we immediately find affinities. For her part, she had already discussed survival and parachuting with Victor. So we thought we could create a small strong core together. No strategy, but an alliance to make a great team for reunification.
The least we can say is that it did not work …
One thing is certain: no team can decimate itself in this way before reunification. It's extremely stupid! Trouble is, the others agreed that Chloe would take him as far as possible, whatever the cost. And it fell on me, even though I tried to go through the drops.
