Here is the main information about the earthquake on Monday:

РThe earthquake, measuring 5.4 on the Richter scale, occurred in Ard̬che, "26 km southeast of Privas", possibly near Teil at 11:52 am. In metropolitan France, there have been no earthquakes of this magnitude (5.4) since February 22, 2003 in Rambervillers (Vosges).

РIt was felt mostly in Dr̫me and Ard̬che. In the town of Teil (Ardeche), where the earthquake was strongly felt as reported by a witness, serious damage was found. 250 people had to be relocated, according to France Bleu's local branch.

РIn Mont̩limar (Dr̫me), a 45-year-old man was seriously injured in his lower limbs after falling off a scaffold. In Ard̬che, three other people were slightly injured following a panic attack.
