DIRECT – Météo France expands its orange alert for the heat wave to 65 departments



Fifty-three departments are put on orange alert in the heat wave, announces Météo France.

Forty-eight departments join Paris, its little crown and the Seine and Marne, in vigilance since the end of the night, by this intense heat wave of unprecedented precociousness.

These are the departments of Ain, Allier, Ardennes, Aube, Cantal, Charente, Cher, Corrèze, Côte-d'Or, Creuse, Dordogne, Doubs, Drôme, Eure-et-Loir, Indre, Indre-et-Loire , Isère, Jura, Loire-et-Cher, Loire, Haute-Loire, Loiret, Monte, Marne, Haute-Marne, Meurthe-et-Moselle, Meuse, Moselle, Nièvre, Puy-de-Dôme, Bas-Rhin, Haut-Rhin , Rhône, Haute-Saône, Saône-et-Loire, Savoie, Haute-Savoie, Yvelines, Deux-Sèvres, Tarn, Tarn-et-Garonne, Vienne, Haute-Vienne, Vosges, Yonne, Territoire de Belfort, Essonne and Val-d-Oise.
