LONDON (Reuters) – The US Commerce Department may shortly cut restrictions on Huawei Technologies after a recent blacklist has made it almost impossible for the Chinese company to buy products made in the United States, a department spokesman said Friday -market.
The Commerce Department may issue a temporary general license to allow companies and individuals with Huawei equipment to maintain the reliability of their communications and equipment networks, the spokesman said.
