Fort Smith's Bolding Construction recently acquired PFI, a local paving contractor.
For Bolding, the transaction means more emphasis on the PFI's core function of installation and service to streamline the entire process, according to a press release.
"Having run our office successfully for nearly 20 years, this was a logical way to grow," says PFI's Shanan Palmer.
PFI was founded in 2000 and has focused primarily on installing and repairing floors while servicing thousands of people in the Fort Smith area.
Max Avery, CEO of Bolding Construction, says the transition will occur smoothly and without disruption to either party's operations.
"Our team has the capacity and is logistically very well prepared," Avery said in the statement. "The only notable change will be through improvements in the services available and faster scheduling for project efficiency." PFI's customers were generally very happy before, and things are only going to get better. to our respective customers through our area of maximum knowledge. "
