Scientists in Australia have found that obesity and excessive alcohol intake are factors that increase the risk of breast cancer.
According to the International Journal of Cancer, scientists collected and analyzed data from 6 studies involving more than 200,000 women to identify preventable preventative events.
Scientists have found that the main causes of breast cancer are overweight and excessive alcohol intake.
"We found that the share of obesity may be higher in breast cancer cases in the next 10 years, with 17,500 cases or 13% of potential infections," says Marit Laxson.
Laxonen adds that the share of alcohol will be 11,600. In addition, 7% of breast cancer cases among women participating in the studies were due to hormone ingestion for more than five years after menopause.
