Monday deadline to use 90% of tax arrears

The Tax Authority of Egypt declares that the last date for the end of the 90% period for the delay and the additional tax in Law No. 174 of 2018 will be next Monday, November 12, original.

The Egyptian Tax Authority called on all registrars and financiers to accelerate the progress of their missions to benefit from the law after paying the principal of the tax.

Taxpayers also appealed to the taxpayer to take advantage of 90% of the waiver law for delay before the specified deadline. The exemption period begins at 70% of the delay in payment of the principal of the tax as of November 13, 2018 for 45 days .

The law was implemented on August 15 for a period of 6 months, the first phase of waiving the delay against 90% discount as of August 15, 2018 for a period of 3 months until November 12, 2018 and second phase starts with 70% discount from November 13, 2018 45 days until December 27, 2018, with the third phase starting with a 50% discount as of December 28, 2018 and for 45 days until 9 of February 2019.
