I do not know why I should have the highest prosecutor of the kosit state – Novinky.cz

Why did you decide to take on the role of Chief Justice?

Because I do not like what it is. And somehow, you need to be helped to go back to some rules and come up with ideas on how the three central pillars should work here. For example, today (on Friday) I noticed how the Judicial Union pushed its horns, which surprised me. Union President Daniela Zemanová made a statement saying that they are asking Jan Kněžínek's departure to be explained. What do they have to challenge?

This is what turns the executive into power. Justice has its evils, I know very well where. This is a shout that the best defense is an attack.

Lack of courage to decide, deciding like that forever.

What do you think are the biggest diseases?

Little convenience. This means that if you go to the Mičánky justice complex in Prague, where you can walk all three floors, you would expect many people there, witnesses, and so on. one thing in the morning.

So you mean a little diligence in the courts?

Yes I call it convenience. In the past, there was a bulletin board with four things scheduled in the morning and two in the afternoon, which you do not see today, and then you find those judges in the upcoming market.

And other diseases?

Lack of courage to decide so decides forever, etc.

You're on Zeman's advisory team. Do you assume that you will be a minister after your appointment?

The Minister of Agriculture Toman is on the advisory team and does not interfere. So I do not suppose someone will fire me.

These are slanders we hate. If there were any reservations, we told them.

Do you have a good relationship with the president?

It's still the same. We can fight, say a different opinion, but I tell him in the eyes and I do not move away from it.

You also recently criticized the President's pronounced statements to the Chief Prosecutor's address in Olomouc, Ivo Ištvan, and his work on the Nagyová case.

I criticize this all the time, currently there are different opinions. I explain to him that Ištvan has won, and if there has been any unfortunate press conference, let her take him back. There were some big eyes in there, but this happens at press conferences, and that does not mean she's going to reject it. All these remedies in the Nagy Ištvan case have just won.

Are you currently behind the work of leading promoters? Do you have any problems with any of them?

I do not and I do not even see them. Ištvan is far away and I last saw Lenka Bradáková (senior deputy in Prague, red note). When I invited her to lunch at the Constitutional and Legal Committee of the Chamber of Deputies. And it was absolutely everything cool and smiling.

These are slanders we hate. If there were any reservations, we told them.

So, do you have any problems with the current senior attorneys?

And why should I? We have no problems, some journalists infest her completely hysterically.

I'm not saying I have reservations. I would say they are communicative, but should not be thrown away, but talk together.

Do not you think about trading them?

I'm not thinking, anyway. On the contrary, the communication will intensify, the Public Prosecutor's Law will be done, which is also in the government's policy statement.

And Supreme Prosecutor Pavel Zeman?

No problem with that, I once chose for The Hague. I even went to him to ask the county prosecutor to give me. It was my choice, I started his career, now he is the state attorney, and I do not know why I should nail him.

Does the prosecution system work well below it?

I'm not saying I have reservations. I would say they are communicative, but should not be thrown away, but talk together.

I do not like the fact that we are talking about the fight against corruption here, but we do not find the fourteen points of the Council of Europe's recommendation, which is not good, so I'm going to look for where the cause is.

You spoke about your connection to the command of ČSSD of Northern Bohemia and former Ústí hetman Jan Vaňhová, who is accused, and you legally represented her.

I'm a lawyer, why do not I represent her? This is forbidden? And I was a member of Northern Bohemia, so we were probably connected. But there has been a change of leadership and I am no longer a member of the party for seven years. So who cares if you're talking about links?

There are talks about the mafia's ways of finding people around mrs. Vaňhová or his late partner, Roman Houska.

They should prove it to her. Mr. Houska is dead, it was a murder order (2013, ed.) and to this day it has not been proven who ordered it, and there is no interest in finding out what I am accusing the police.

Mrs Vaňh is prosecuted, but not convicted, and she pays the presumption of innocence. Let's see how the court goes. I do not act anymore, he's my colleague. I'm going to have to stop with the lawyer after my appointment.

What do you plan to do first?

I do not like the fact that we are talking about the fight against corruption here, but we do not comply with the fourteen points of the Council of Europe's recommendation, which does not correspond, so I will look for where the cause is.

I will also have to focus on the legislation that is within the Legislative Council of the Government, where Minister Kněžínek returns. He is an excellent legislator and I probably entrust him with the leadership of the Government Legislative Council.
