In the third football championship, Zápa's main team and four other clubs of Živanice, Převýšov, Radotín and Jirny are in conflict with the rules. They do not have the required number of youth teams. Sport magazine reported. The Football Association will deal with the situation in two weeks at a meeting of the Executive Committee.
In addition to five ČFL clubs, Sokol Čížová has the same problem. "Yes, I agree we should remove them from the competition, but we will not do it because we would destroy the competition, which we do not want," Roman Berbr, FAČR vice president, told Sport.
According to the rules, ČFL clubs for County 1st Class B must have a number of youth teams. If they do not meet this condition but have at least a minimum number of youth selections, they can play 50,000 crowns for the missing team if a fine is paid. When the club does not meet the minimum number of junior team teams, it is not allowed to play, but the Bohemian Steering Committee allowed all sinners to start.
Berbr believes that the current system is poorly defined because adult leagues start two months before the start of youth competitions. The result is that, in particular, smaller cities will find that they will not fill the required number of youth teams.
They know, but argue that the quota is not enough to meet the number of children. If the club moved into the second league, it would take six young teams to license it. In professional competitions, however, teams have the opportunity to purchase youth teams from another club.
The situation will be dealt with on December 4 by the FACR Executive Committee because if one of the clubs that meets the conditions decided to deal with the situation consistently can cause major problems. According to Berbra, clubs should be able to pay in all circumstances, but for much larger sums.
