Xiaomi surprised us all once again with the launch of his Mi A1 in September 2017. It was a mid-range smartphone built in aluminum with a 5.5-inch IPS screen, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 and a differentiating factor, Android One.
The Chinese company has started an alliance with Google to bring Android in its purest state to consumers. The Android One initiative has several advantages, as well as a simple, fluid system with no layers of customization, promises 2 years of updates. It's a simple way to have a device for the latter, at least during that period.
However, what happens next? It is the question that many of the owners of a Xiaomi Mi A1 are wondering, who has a great doubt, Android Q will come to my cell phone? Over the last few weeks, we have been able to witness a lot of movement on the network and, against all odds, there can be hope.

There is nothing confirmed, but Android Q could hit the Mi A1
The Xiaomi device came on the market with Android Nougat, more specifically in its version 7.1.2. As we have said, Google promises two years of updates, that is, two of the new editions of its operating system. The Xiaomi Mi A1 has been upgraded to Android 8 Oreo and recently made the leap to the latest official version, the Android 9 Foot. That said, the Chinese smartphone would have covered the quota, so you would not expect a new update.
After all, some answers to user questions in a forum seem to have opened a door. As we read in the Xiaomi blog, specifically in the most popular questions section on the Xiaomi Mi A1, "No official announcement yet". It's what you answered. one of Xiaomi's workers to the question about whether the popular terminal would update Android Q.
The responsible could have written directly that the device will not receive the tenth version of Android, but opted for a "no official announcement yet." Does this mean that the Xiaomi Mi A1 will make the big leap for the new edition of Google's operating system? We can not be sure, but we would be lying if we said that does not bring hope.
