At the time of the works at Metrocable Picacho, the Medellín subway will have changes to the opening hours of lines A and K this Saturday, November 2 and Sunday, November 3.

So on Saturday, November 2, between 9:30 pm. and 11:00 pm (when commercial service ends), Line A will operate between Estrella – Caribe stations. In the section between Acevedo and Niquía, no services will be provided. That is, the Acevedo, Madera, Bello and Niquía stations will not be activated.
From 9:30 pm, there will be a train that will run the service between the Caribe – Tricentenario and Tricentenario – Caribe stations to ensure users travel to the Tricentenario station.
On this day, between 9:30 pm and the end of the commercial service (11:00 pm), the Metrocable K Line (Acevedo-Santo Domingo) will not provide service.
On Sunday, between 5:00 am. m and at 8:00 am, Line A commercial service will be provided between the Estrella – Caribe stations. There will be no service between Acevedo and Niquía stations. Similarly, at this time, there will be a train that will travel between the Caribbean-Tricentenary and Tricentenary-Caribbean stations.
From 8:00 am, Line A will normally operate between La Estrella and Niquía. The Metrocable K Line will begin service at its usual time, ie at 8:30 am.

Medellin Metro reported through its institutional channels that during these temporary suspensions, Saturday and Sunday, the integrated routes serving Acevedo, Madera, Bello and Niquía stations will be integrated with Line A at the Caribe station. Those in the Tricentennial will continue to serve normally this season. That is, the integrated routes 261ii, 263i, 263ii and 261ii of Transportes Medellín Castilla.
