The website of the National Development and Reform Commission announced today the operation of the non-ferrous metal industry from January to October. According to statistics from the National Bureau of Statistics, from January to October, the production of ten non-ferrous metals in China was 44.785 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 4.4%. According to data from China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association in October 2018, the average price of copper in the domestic market was 50,230 yuan / ton, down 7.3% over the previous year, the average spot price of aluminum output was 14,229 yuan / ton, down 12.3% compared to the same period a year earlier. Ton, down 8.4% year on year, the average spot price of zinc was 23,145 yuan / ton, down 12.9% year on year.

From January to October, imports of copper and copper were 4.413 million tonnes, 17.2% above the previous year, while aluminum and aluminum exports were 4,734 million tonnes, an annual increase of 19.1% and 43080 tonnes, an increase of 2.7% over the previous year.
