According to the authorities, the initiative seeks to fill a gap that existed with mothers, because it is one of the diseases that can be transmit vertically during pregnancy.

For its part, the Director (s) of the Health Service, Fabio López, commented that "through laboratory of the Regional Hospital of Rancagua, the examinations will be processed ".
According to the authorities, the idea is place managers at the national level so that they can grant more resources to treat this disease.
