With a message on social networks, national singer Camila Gallardo sent a message to the public about the presence of women in Chilean music.
"Stop making us compete among women," says the beginning of a tweet, which alludes to comparisons between her and other local singers of the past.
"Let's make calm music without having to compare ourselves. We all have the light to shine," added Gallardo, whose career has consistently been compared to Denise Rosenthal.
The criticism comes after the singer has filled Movistar Arena in the framework of the Pink Tour, which during the summer will make her go through different stages of the country.
"There are 24 hours a day and 7 days a week, it's a lot of time to listen to music, lots of songs to play, let's shine," Cami insisted.
Hey, cut it to make us compete with women. Let us make quiet music without having to compare ourselves. We all have light to shine. There are 24 hours a day and 7 days a week, it's a long time to listen to music. Lots of songs to play. Let's shine.
