Disseminating the availability of the HIV / AIDS rapid test in primary care centers in the Ñuble Region and providing information related to preventive methods to prevent new cases of the disease was the objective of a day of dissemination organized by Health Seremi. and the Unit of Epidemiology of this portfolio, composed by a tour of pubs and nightclubs in Chillán.
"In the period 2010-2017, 340 cases were reported in Ñuble, with an average of 43 per year, a percentage that continues today. These are worrying numbers that motivate us to reinforce the preventive tasks in the field, revealing that in a brief procedure doctor, the rapid test, it is possible to diagnose the disease for the appropriate treatment, "explained Marta Bravo, Health Seremi.
