The Municipality of La Florida honored on Sunday more than a thousand former conscripts which were part of the conflict between Chile and Argentina by the Beagle Channel in 1978.
On the occasion, there was a parade that was attended by the mayor Rodolfo Carter with the three branches of the Armed Forces and Carabineros with the goal of decorating ex-soldiers of 40 years of the fact that he was about to lead a war.
