Manny Pacquiao retained the title against Adrien Broner and challenged Floyd Mayweather to a rematch

The Filipino Fighter Manny Pacquiao revalidated his welterweight title, World Boxing Association (WBA), beating the American Adrien Broner by unanimous decision and immediately challenged Floyd Mayweather Jr. so he can return to the ring and they can face each other in a rematch fight.

For now, Pacquiao, 40, has kept the promise that he can still do important things in the ring and showed a rival that gave him no choice to fight for the title.

In addition, Pacquiao continues to have great support from fans, as 13,025 attended the MGM Grand Garden Arena to witness the Broner fight.

Also the three judges of the match, agreed on 12 rounds, saw Pacquiao as a clear winner with some final cards of 117-111, 116-112 and 116-112.

"I feel very happy because I did my best in the fight and training, thank God for this victory. I am very happy because God gave me such good health. At 40, I can still give my best"Said Pacquiao, then sent his message to Mayweather.

"Tell him to get back in the ring and we'll fight, I'm willing to fight Floyd Mayweather again if he's willing to go back to boxing," said the Philippine champion.

Mayweather Jr., as one of the promoters of the night, was in the front row and undoubtedly watched Pacquiao carefully considering the possibility of a rematch that he and Pacquiao spoke to in Japan last September during an informal meeting

Both fighters starred in 2015 welterweight unification fight that won with controversial Mayweather Jr. and that generated the highest income in boxing history with 600 million dollars raised.
