Another banking association increases the trend.
The dream of many to fully incorporate Google Pay in Chile is increasingly close to being a reality, now with a new associated bank.
This is the Bank of Credit and Investment, better known as BCI, which adds to the logical trend of adopting new and good technologies.
This partnership between Google, BCI and Visa will enable more than 74% of the bank's customers to access this convenient payment system.
That's because this percentage uses Android in that bank, which represents about 200,000 people who have a computer running the Google and NFC operating system, can have that benefit.
Verónica Goldfart, Head of Industry, Travel, Finance and Government of Google Chile, said:
We are very happy that more and more people are able to use Google Pay in Chile, this time in the hands of Banco Bci. Google Pay is a fast, easy and secure option to pay on websites, apps and stores using cards inserted into a Google account. Our ecosystem is completely open and we are constantly working with hundreds of companies, banks and governments around the world to have solutions that enhance the user experience, in this case payment-related. We integrate the varied applications and websites that users love to stimulate exciting business experiences and make our technology available to everyone.
