The traditional restaurant "La Uruguaya", located in the municipality of Ñuñoa, was affected by a violent fire.
Until the place located at the intersection of José Domingo Cañas and José Manuel Infante streets, several firemen arrived and finally managed to control the flames. Juan Araya, owner of the restaurant, briefly explained to Emol that he was not at the scene, but that he was informed that a spark had fallen on the ceiling, which would have caused the accident.
Firefighters reported that the site was 100% evacuated and that there were about 80 people among clients and employees. After that, the extinguishing and ventilation work was performed at the top.
