Those who played Super Mario 64 Surely you know the eternal debate about what is the phrase that Mario says when launching Bowser from the floating platform, a mystery that finally was solved for nothing less than Charles Martinet, the actor who gives voice to the famous plumber of Nintendo (via Siliconera).
If you are not aware in the final fight of the classic Super Mario 64 – Mario vs Bowser there is an epic fight where Mario must hold Bowser from his tail and throw him against some explosive metal balls, but only when we play the villain, Mario says a phrase that is not well understood and is what caused the debate.
Most believe it says "So long, Bowser!"but pronouncing it with Mario's accent that sounds like"So far, Bowser!", even many claimed that it said"So long, Bowser gay!"or"So long, dear Bowser!"but now the authorized voice of Martinet has confirmed that it really says"So long, Kinga Bowser!"
So in fact all this time he said "Goodbye, King Bowser!" Only with an A at the end of the King that caused the confusion.
So long Kinga Bowser!

The phrase was changed in the remake for the Nintendo DS
One detail worth mentioning is that in the remake of Super Mario 64 for the Nintendo DS handheld changed the commented phrase to a "Bye Bye", perhaps to avoid continuing the debate.
Super Mario 64 was released in 1996 for the Nintendo 64.
