An important milestone for this title was indicated in the Game of the Year category.
Heavenly it's a title indie which, although at first glance seems very simple, actually offers a great and challenging experience that led it to be nominated as the best game of the year at various sites and events including The 2018 Game Awards and of course the 2018 Gold Stack.
Having said that, today we have this exposure also served as a promotion since developer Matt Thorson announced that Celeste has already managed to sell more than 500 thousand copies just before completing their first year of availability.
In addition to publicizing this milestone and thanking the players, Thorson revealed that they are working on new levels that will be very difficult and will arrive in early 2019, reminding them that they will soon announce plans for next year.
We are working on some Celeste farewell levels, which should be ready by early 2019. They are very difficult. And we will announce the next step for us in the new year as well. See you in 2019

Speaking of this title recognized by many as the best indie of the year, was recently announced that in January 2019 will be free to Xbox Live Gold subscribers with the Xbox One.
Celeste became available on January 25, 2018 in versions for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
