Despite criticism of the Immortal Diablo, Blizzard is excited about the titles for mobile devices.
A new report suggests that Blizzard is currently working a game with the style of Pokémon GO based on the universe of Warcraft (via PCGamer).
The Kotaku site has published an article about the past, present and future of Diablo, where they talk about the popular franchise, including Immortal Devil, the mobile title announced in the last BlizzCon that was heavily criticized by fans.
They emphasize that despite the negative reaction of Diablo Immortal, within Blizzard the opposite happens because they are very enthusiastic about mobile games since many of the developers usually play them, including, of course, the popular GO Pokémon that uses reality technology increased.
In the report they point out that the creation of this GO Pokémon title based on Warcraft would be due to the huge income it could generate but also indicate that the main designer Cory Stockton – who worked on World of Warcraft – is a big fan of the franchise. Pokémon
Although there are few details on the subject, it is expected that the title has characteristics similar to the Pokémon GO, but also has some new features, such as mechanics for individual games.
