The National Petroleum Company (ENAP) announced on Wednesday the variation of the prices that will register the fuels from tomorrow Thursday, when it will mark its eleventh consecutive increase.
As reported in a statement, the base price of benzines will have an increase of 5.8 pesos in its version of 93 and 97 octane, reaching US $ 747.4 and US $ 765.4, respectively.
O Dieselmeanwhile, it will see an increase of 3.8 pesos per liter, reaching US $ 547.
Meanwhile, the kerosene –fuel that begins to occupy more on this date – will register an increase of 0.7 pesos, reaching US $ 519.4.

As explained the state company among the reasons behind this increase "the previous week began with market attention on the development of trade negotiations between the US and China. Both countries were discussing an agreement when on Thursday 9 May, President Donald Trump reported that if they did not reach an agreement with China, new tariffs would begin to take effect the next day. "

The prices correspond to ENAP reference values, which only seek to provide information relevant to the fuel market, unlike those reported by the National Energy Commission in its Online Fuel Price Information System.
