December 6, 2018, 08:22Tripoli, Dec 6 (Prensa Latina) The Libyan cabinet has announced the launch of a national campaign to vaccinate more than two million children against measles, polio and rubella, the Center for Disease Control reported today.

The director of the organization, Badr al-Din Najjar, made the announcement in the capital during a joint press conference with the representations of the World Health Organization and the United Nations Children's Fund.

Najjar explained that the campaign will focus on children as young as 15 and noted that the campaign will be developed without disrupting routine immunizations by the Center for Disease Control.

This plan, which will begin next Saturday and end on the 15th, is targeted at two million 750,000 children, following the same pattern of previous campaigns, the official said.

He added that all vaccines are now available in the center's stores, as well as in all hospitals and health centers in the country.
