AMLO Government warns of flu risks with Pikachu image

MEXICO CITY, Dec 9 (UNIVERSAL) .- With a Pikachu surprised by the message: "When they say that unlike the common cold, influenza can be deadly," the Ministry of Health invited all Mexicans to apply the vaccine against the respiratory disease that claimed the lives of 63 people.

In social networks, the agency shared the image of the Pokémon character and reiterated that "the vaccine is free, safe and effective and is the best defense for vulnerable groups, such as children, elderly and protected pregnant women."

During the winter, 31 million doses of the vaccine will be applied and it is advisable that the population put it before the end of 2018, since the viruses circulate with more intensity in the last week of December and the first half of January.
