WALTER makes his WWE debut NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool

WALTER made his WWE debut and confronted Pete Dunne to close NXT UK's first TakeOver special.

After defeating Joe Coffey to hold the WWE United Kingdom Championship in the main event of the NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool, Dunne was in the ring celebrating how the show seemed to be coming off the air. But WALTER appeared at an angle at the end of the show, leaving for his regular theme song (Antonin Dvorak's Symphony No. 9). In the commentary, Nigel McGuinness said that WALTER was here.

WALTER entered the ring to meet Dunne. Coffey got up from the blindfold, tried to get into the ring, and WALTER pushed him back down. WALTER and Dunne posed for each other, with them face to face and WALTER saying something to Dunne before he left the ring.

It was confirmed last November that WALTER signed with WWE and would come to NXT UK. The 31-year-old Austrian is a wXw star in Germany and is the current world champion in PROGRESS Wrestling and OTT. He also held the PWG world title before dropping it in October.
