Tye Dillinger returns to WWE action tonight, tried to return to NXT

WWE star Tye Dillinger has been missing since suffering a hand injury at a WWE show in late October. Dillinger's injury prevented him from competing in a United States Championship game the following night at SmackDown Live against then-champion Shinsuke Nakamura. The injury was significant enough to keep him out of action for more than three months.

Dillinger noted that he is ready to return to action tonight:

Dillinger joins WWE Live's SmackDown Live – Road to WrestleMania list, which takes place in DeKalb, Illinois at the Northern Illinois University Convocation Center.

A fan also asked Dillinger, who was once one of the NXT's most popular artists, whether he would be willing to go back for the WWE development brand.

Dillinger replied:

Dillinger did a show in Orlando, Florida NXT in May 2018, when he successfully answered the open challenge of the German Superstar Marcel Barthel. Dillinger, however, has not been seen in the brand since.
