Pocophone (aka Little in India) has taken the world by storm this year. The Xiaomi branch ranked first in our recent survey of readers on the best new smartphone brands of 2018, by a huge margin. This is largely with the strength of its high power debut device, the Pocophone F1, which is almost unbeatable in its price range.
Now the Pocophone is ready to reveal something new. Check out the teaser:
O #NEWPOCO is getting all excited!

We still do not know what this #NEWPOCO thing is, but do not expect too much for a Pocophone F2. F1 is too early in its life cycle to get a successor. In addition, Pocophone will probably want to wait for the new Snapdragon 855 to become available before it expels another cheap plant.
According to Ishan Agarwal, the Pocophone may be triggering new color versions of F1. You can meet Agarwal from some recent high-profile leaks, like the mysterious new OnePlus or the McLaren 6T before him. He thinks – although he does not claim to know for sure – that the Pocophone will bring the Kevlar finish to the lower versions of F1, as well as releasing new gradient colors at the same price as existing ones.
There's a chance Pocophone will surprise us with a new device, but it does not make much sense to do it on Christmas Day.
It is also possible that we received a software update. Pocophone previously said it would try to upgrade F1 with Netflix HD support by the end of the year.
