Northumberland Ferries canceled trips until further notice and Confederation Bridge has a wind warning notice in place.

Plowed dispatchers are reporting reduced visibility on the island's roads. Cold temperatures, -10 C to 6:00 AM at Charlottetown Airport, stormy winds and light snow at night are coming together to create poor travel conditions.

Environment Canada expects another two centimeters in gusts, with the wind increasing in strength throughout the day, blowing at 60 km / h with gusts to 80 at night.

The snow will be heavier at night, with a forecast of five to ten centimeters.
