Hideo Itami's move to WWE came to an end.
According to a report from Fightful, the 205 Live star has requested and will be granted his release from the company. He fought his last match tonight, when he lost to Akira Tozawa. There will be a cause of 90 days without competitions, so do not expect to see it on the independent circuit immediately.
Itami debuted at NXT in 2014. However, injuries wreaked havoc on his career and damaged several of his thrusts. For the past two years, he has been on the 205 Live roster. Most recently, he was hired in the Royal Rumble Cruiserweight Championship game.
