Nova Scotia The RCMP closed Highway 101 at Berwick this morning because of "an unfolding situation."
They did not disclose any details about the incident, except to say that the public is not at risk.
According to police, highway 101 between exits 15 and 16 should be closed most of the day.

Traffic is being redirected to Highway 1.
Somerset and District Elementary School in Berwick were also closed today.
The Annapolis Valley Regional Education Center did not provide a reason for cancellation.
