Power Rangers have had a bit of a resurgence in recent years with a live action movie in 2017. Now nWay – the developer and publisher behind the success of the multiplayer mobile game Power Rangers: Legacy Wars – is partnering with Hasbro and Lionsgate to release Power Rangers: Battle for the Net on several platforms, including the eShop Switch, in April this year.
The multiplayer fighting game features cross-over features and is described as easy to learn but difficult to master while offering a modern insight into the Power Rangers franchise. Players will be able to test their online skills against friends and players from the other side of the world – with new content and game modes to be released throughout the year.
You can pre-order a standard copy of the game for $ 19.99 or Digital Collector's Edition for $ 39.99. Both versions include the bonus V2 Green Ranger skin and the digital artbook. The Collector's Edition also includes Season One Pass (including three new characters, its arcade story and warrior skin), an exclusive fighter of Lord Drakkon Evo II and a selection of character skins Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Pink Ranger .
