Mortal Kombat 11, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 and more announced for the Nintendo Switch at the Game Awards

The Game Awards was a very lively event. Along with the recognition of the best and brightest in the industry, it was an opportunity for new games to be announced and shown to the world. For the Nintendo's Switch, we learned of three new games for the laptop that took the gaming world by storm.

Mortal Kombat 11

To begin with, Mortal Kombat 11 is real, and is going to Switch. The latest entry in the franchise will house a considerable list of new and old characters as well as introduce new game mechanics to liven up the franchise. We already have a release date with Warner Bros. announcing that it will arrive on April 23, 2019.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3

Another surprise announcement was the Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3. Not only were we surprised to see that this series is receiving a new entry but we also learned that it will be exclusive to the Nintendo Switch!

The Marvel Ultimate Alliance has achieved prominence in the previous generation as a beat-em-up game with all its favorite Marvel characters such as Spider-Man, Captian America and Iron Man. As with previous games, you will be able to join three of his friends (then four-player co-op) to defeat the Marvel bandits. The game is being developed by Team Ninja, a studio supporter in the world of fighting and action games. It's the same studio responsible for Dead or Alive, as well as the modern Ninja Gaiden games.

We also learned that he will employ a camera angle behind his shoulder to bring him closer to the action. This should be good news for critics of previous games, who felt their strange design levels, obsolete combat mechanics and the camera's complicated angle that prevented them from being anything special.

Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled

Crash is back! Crash Team Racing Nitro Fueled is a complete remake of the original. It has been rebuilt from scratch with new graphics and a new gaming engine, but features all the same fun racing modes you remember from the original PlayStation classic. Of course the online game will be on board for those who want to relive the glory days with friends.

This package will only cost $ 40 when it's released, although passionate fans can grab the $ 60 Nitros Oxide edition, which includes Nitros Oxide as a playable character, a unique new cart to accompany it, and additional skins. Look at it for the race for Switch June 21, 2019.

Wild Hearts Sayonara

We're still not quite sure what Sayonara Wild Hearts really is. It is made by the small but passionate Swedish studio Simogo (of the Year Walk cult), and is a progressive-looking headline that favors purple and pink in a heavy art direction. The trailer showed some kind of biker gang ripping the streets in a title that seems to put the neon-filled vibrations of the 1980s in the thick. It's to keep an eye out for the launch scheduled for sometime in 2019.

Will you choose any of these titles for your Nintendo Switch when they are released next year?
