Kofi Kingston issued a moving statement about his removal from the WWE Championship match at Fastlane.

"I needed to take a few days to process what actually happened. Shock, sadness, emptiness, frustration, anger, confusion are just a few feelings on a roller coaster of emotions, "Kofi began his shared statement on Twitter.

In case you missed the SmackDown Live episode on Tuesday night, WWE CEO Mr. McMahon announced that Kofi was being replaced in Fastlane's main event for the return of Kevin Owens.

In the statement … Kofi also thanks New Day for having his back and all the others who supported him during his 11 years in WWE.
