It's a holiday miracle, Porsche is making T versions of the 718 Boxster and Cayman

When U.S got behind the wheel of Porsche's lightweight and (relatively, for Porsche anyway) Carrera T low cost, we were excited about how incredibly fun and focused the driver was, but left us wondering what a T version of the 718 twins It would be like. Fortunately, Porsche seems to have asked the same thing because it announced the 718 Boxster and Cayman T models on Tuesday.

What exactly goes into a "T" model? Frankly, it's more about what comes out. Unlike the more expensive GTS model, the T is based on the non-S version of the 718. It gets the basic engine, which produces 300 horsepower still healthy from its four-cylinder turbocharged engine. Buyers may choose to leave things out of the car too, like the stereo.

Lightweight and lightweight porsches, the characteristic fabric door of the 718 T pulls and a standard Sport Chrono package, and lack of extravagant 18-way adjustable seats. You just have the basics here. It comes standard with the Porsche Active Suspension Mangement and a 20mm drop at the time of the ride. The Porsche six-speed manual gearbox with rear differential and mechanical locking torque vectoring is standard, although the PDK is available as an option.

Aesthetically, there are a few "T" decals selected to allow passers-by to know that you are a human being in taste and steering ability, as well as some ultra-sophisticated wheels and gray mirror protectors. This is not a car screaming about how special the roofs are.
