Homicide team telephoned Surrey after the shooting – BC

The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) was called to Surrey after a shootout.

Surrey RCMP confirms that they are on the scene in block 14600 of Southview Drive.

When they arrived at 11:46 am, police said they had found an adult victim suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite attempts to revive the person, the victim succumbed to the wounds.

Police are not giving more details about the victim at this time.

Police isolated the surrounding region.

On November 9, a 22-year-old man was shot and killed in Surrey, at 142nd Street and 70A avenue, shortly before 1:30 p.m.

On November 12, the RCMP Surrey was called into the 8000 block of 153A Street and found evidence suggesting that shots had been fired in the area.

Initial information suggests that the shooting occurred between two vehicles that fled the area.
