Former WWE Champion Bray Wyatt Returns From Surprise On WWE Starrcade

The inside crowd of WWE Starrcade in Cincinnati witnessed a surprising comeback in the form of the WWE Champion and two-time Tag Team champion Bray Wyatt.

Wyatt was last seen in WWE as part of a tag team with Matt Hardy. The two won the Raw Tag Team championships in the Greatest Royal Rumble, but lost the belts for The B-Team in Extreme Rules.

After his loss, Hardy had time to deal with injuries and Wyatt has not been seen on WWE television since.

During Starrcade, Raw Raw's general manager Baron Corbin threw an open challenge for anyone who was on his back to come out and confront him.

In response, the lights went out, Wyatt's music beat and the fireflies came out for the first time in months. Not only did he look great, he did not miss a step, beating Corbin on his first night back.

Check out these fan videos of Wyatt's entry and his victory over Corbin:

Although Wyatt originally eliminated Corbin, the acting general manager refused to accept him. He ordered the game to be restarted, this time with a no-disqualification condition. Corbin might have expected some advantage, but the stipulation ended up favoring Wyatt. Both Elias and Finn Balor, who have no love for Corbin, left to help Wyatt regain the victory again.

Corbin's open challenge and Wyatt's return were not originally announced for the show, nor was it announced for the Starrcade special that will appear on the WWE Network. From now on, it remains to see how WWE is planning to integrate Wyatt into the main list once again.
