Flood closes SkyTrain station, service interrupted

skytrain delays

** UPDATE December 11, 4:37 pm: The Columbia station has been reopened and the regular SkyTrain service has been restored. However, TransLink reports that passengers may experience delays due to overcrowding. They will also continue to operate the bus bridges to offer customers alternative options until overcrowding is resolved.

TransLink has announced that there is currently no SkyTrain service through Columbia Station at Expo Line due to flooding.

The transport authority arranged a bus bridge between New Westminster Station and Braid Station in the same period. In addition, a second bus bridge was created from New Westminster Station and Scott Road.

With this in mind, the services of the Millennium Line and the Canada Line are not affected by the advertisement. TransLink teams are currently working to restore full service.

Drivers who are looking for alternative routes to SkyTrain are encouraged to consult our Travel Planner (http: // tripplanning.translink.ca) online and select "Do not use SkyTrain" in the advanced search settings, or contact our customer information desk (604-953-3333) for advice on travel planning.
