Fiend Vs. Game Official Bryan Universal for WWE Survivor Series

Daniel Bryan is officially ready to compete for the Universal Championship at Survivor Series.

During the segment of tonight's SmackDown main event, it was confirmed that universal champion "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt will defend his title against Bryan in pay-per-view. It is taking place at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois, on Sunday, November 24th.

Bryan's fight with The Fiend began when The Fiend attacked Bryan during a backstage segment last week and put him in the Jaw.

Tonight, Bryan appeared on a Miz TV segment on SmackDown. Bryan said Wyatt / The Fiend is mentally unstable – but so is he. As Bryan said there was no one better to face The Fiend than him, Wyatt appeared on the video screen and interrupted Bryan. The segment led Bryan to challenge the Universal title fight and Wyatt to accept by singing "Yes".

WWE also debuted a new version of Universal Championship with a blue belt on SmackDown. The Fiend won the Seth Rollins title at Crown Jewel, with WWE Champion Brock Lesnar moving to Raw.

Here is the updated card for the Survivor series:

  • WWE Champion Brock Lesnar defending against Rey Mysterio
  • Universal Champion The Fiend defending against Daniel Bryan
  • Female Raw Champion Becky Lynch beat NXT Champion SmackDown, Bayley and Shayna Baszler in an untitled match
