Clark Bishop scores first NHL goal

It was a very special night for Clark Bishop himself from Newfoundland.

Bishop scored his first career National League Hockey goal last night while the Carolina Hurricanes defeated the Anaheim Ducks 4-1 at the PNC Arena in Raleigh.

Bishop did not end there, though. The native of Newfoundland took a tour when team captain and three-time defending Stanley Cup champion Justin Williams scored in the third period.

Bishop recorded a total of just over eleven minutes time in the last game and received the first stars.

Bishop and the hurricanes are back in action Tuesday night when they take over the Toronto Maple Leafs at home.
