The actor, 39, updated followers of Instagram in his latest dietary routine: Daniel Fast, a combination of fasting and prayer inspired by the Bible.

"Hello, Chris Pratt, here, Day Three of Daniel Fast, check it out," Pratt said in a video of Instagram's story, now defeated. "There are 21 days of prayer and fasting."

A website for Daniel Fast explains that it is a "partial fast in which some foods are consumed, while others are restricted. Most people use this fasting method for 21 consecutive days."

Participants are limited to drinking only water and eating only foods that have grown from seeds such as fruits, vegetables and grains.
