Children aged 12 years or younger could soon set up the GO Transit for free, CTV News Toronto reported.
According to several sources, the official announcement will be made by the provincial government on Thursday morning.
People under the age of five can now enjoy GO Transit services for free, while children between five and 12 years old pay half the adult fare.
No other details have been released so far.
Transportation Minister Jeff Yurek is scheduled to speak at Ripley's Aquarium of Canada with Metrolinx President and CEO Phil Verster at 9:30 AM.
