Chris Pratt, star of the "Guardians of the Galaxy", is making an important diet. In an Instagram story, Pratt told fans that he is on the "third day" of something called "Daniel Fast."
According to People Magazine, Daniel Fast, who is driven by faith, "Similar to a vegan diet" and only allows food "Grown from the seed." People in cleanliness avoid meat, dairy products, solid fats and fermented bread.
"It will coincide with Lego Movie 2, so when you see me, I'll probably have hallucinations" Pratt, 39, told his fans.
The star, who usually posts about eating meat like bacon, says she expects to lose weight in the fast, which is "Based on the Old Testament prophet's fasting experiences," and serves to help people "Draw near to God."
Pratt is not the only celebrity to trade meat and dairy products with vegans to lose weight. Beyoncé is known for her love of the "Master Cleanse," a liquid fasting that only allows water with lemon and cayenne and maple syrup.
But more recently, the Grammy winner has followed a vegan diet. Prior to her performance at Coachella in 2018, the star encouraged her followers to "accompany her" on a 44-day vegan diet. The appearance, now dubbed "Beychella", was considered one of the most remarkable moments of pop culture of all time.
Beyoncé and her husband Jay-Z also recently lent their voices to a vegan diet book authored by vegan physiologist Marco Borges.
"Information is hard to ignore" the couple said. "The benefits of a single, plant-based meal per day can have such a profound impact on our health and the environment … We want to challenge it as we challenge ourselves to move towards a more plant-based lifestyle, to defend it for its health and the health of the planet. "
Other celebrities including filmmaker Kevin Smith, Black Eyed Peas frontman Will.i.am, and Craig Robinson have switched to a vegan diet for health reasons. Smith began his vegan diet after a major heart attack. He took a tip from the magician Penn Jillette and only ate potatoes for two weeks to help with weight loss.
Pratt's weight has fluctuated over the years. "For the past two months, I have not been so motivated to work out. And I have eaten " he said in an Instagram report in December. "And I know it's winter and it's a holiday." This morning I woke up and decided that I'm going to get into it and I do not want to, but I'll do it, I'll start today. "
"Let's get motivated" He went on. "Social media material can be so ugly and nasty and can hurt each other, but I'm trying to motivate you."
