Apple sales in the Americas remained flat in the second quarter, but its performance in China continued to struggle.
The company's revenue in the China region, which includes Hong Kong and Taiwan, fell 22% year on year. This is actually an improvement over the first fiscal quarter, when China's sales fell 27%.
"We certainly feel much better than we did 90 days ago" over China, Apple Chief Executive Tim Cook said in the Q2 earnings conference call.
