The media in Italy again criticized the presentation of Sebastian Vettel. At the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, the German finished third and was slower than his team-mate Charles Leckler over the course of the weekend.
The latter fell in qualifying and missed real chances of fighting for the win. At the same time, the Germans did not have the speed to fight with the Pilots of the Boat and Hamilton. He complained of problems with soft tires.
"Vettel seems to follow the philosophy of finishing and earning more points than taking risks," writes La Repubblica. "It's just a question of asking if the Ferrari season ends after only four races."
Il Giornale writes that in Baku Vettel and Leckler they could do more to win the race, especially Sebastian.
Corriere dello Sport notes that the difference between Ferrari and Mercedes is only increasing in favor of the Silver arrows. And La Stampa writes that Ferrari is losing one chance after another to win.
