The Interior Ministry already has a new troubadour and this is the famous pop singer and tenor Orlin Goranov, writes Lupa.bg. The opera singer is blasting his new breadth on Monday during an exhibition at the Museum of the Interior Ministry on the occasion of the institution's 140th anniversary and 25 years since the creation of the Bulgarian section of the International Police Association.
In the presence of Interior Minister Mladen Marinov, the police leadership and foreign police chiefs, the pop star introduced a new song dedicated to the police.
"There are people with hearts of hearts, knights today of spirit and honor," sang Orlin Goranov.
The old anthem of the Interior Ministry of Vesko Marinov – "Our police", which has already caused a lot of laughter, goes down in history. The lyrics of Evtim Evtimov and Toncho Roussev's music will no longer be featured in the MoI events and will not inspire the police.
Meanwhile, the military is joking that the Armenian Orlin Goranov is a police officer, since the pop star is for many years soloist of the Guards' representative metal band and often performs concerts with the Armed Forces as a whole. The singer did his military service in the General Staff of the Civil Engineering Ensemble (GUSV), whose soloist was until 1985.
